 On February 15, 2023, the Electrical Engineering Society hosted an interactive session with the EE batch 2026, B.Tech, Electrical Engineering students. The Electrical Engineering Department's seminar room functioned as the venue for the event. A sense of camaraderie, exchange of knowledge, and professional growth among aspiring electrical engineers were the prime goals of the session. The EES members emphasised the importance of community engagement and shared their personal experiences as active participants in the society.  The Electrical Engineering Society conducted 'Trial by Trivia', a highly competitive and nerve-wracking quiz where all participants showed great vigor and enthusiasm. Carefully crafted with several genres and rounds, the quiz tested knowledge of sports, general affairs, technical knowledge, and other unique and interesting aspects. The quiz consisted of 8 teams that carefully navigated through 5 rounds. The winning team was bestowed with prizes worth Rs. 2000. The event was organized on 14th November 2022. A collective effort was put in by the members of the EES to celebrate Children's day and instill a child-like excitement in our second-year students. Our heartfelt gratitude to Assistant Professor Dr. Shweta, Assistant professor Jitendra Prajapati, Mr. Akash Kumar Singh, Ms Shashi Pandey, and Ms Babita Raj for having made themselves available to celebrate the special occasion with us.

 The Electrical Engineering Society welcomed first year Electrical Engineering with the noteworthy event Vis-a-vis. The event consisted of four rounds- Group Discussion, Debate, Just a minute (JAM) and final round Presentation which was successfully conducted offline by the EES team. The literary event not only enhanced students' communication and presentation skills but also boosted their confidence in public speaking.     "Winning is not always about being best. Sometimes it's about holding on the longest."All the freshers put out a valiant effort and participated to the end. Vis-a-Vis, an initiative from Electrical Engineering Society was overall an intriguing journey and the whole first year travelled it well.The leaderboard here reveals the names of top three ranker and other participants. Every name included here deserves our warmest congratulations. These competitions assuredly helped the students boost up their skills and cognizance.

In the air of  high hopes and unending curiosity, EES welcomes you to the abode of knowledge and inquisitiveness. INTEGREAT: The Quiz is here to test your brainstorming nerves and engage into the lot of curiosities.  The activity was held on 18 December, 2021 and consisted of 4 rounds- Current Affairs and India The Pictionary The Technical Round Rapid Fire The activity was an effort by the members of EES to bring something exciting in the monotonous hectic schedules of second year students of Electrical Engineering Department. The esteemed judge of the event was Neha Manjul Ma'am. The event engaged a total of 8 teams with a team leader each, who "Gamed, Quizzed and Conquered". The winning team members were awarded with an opportunity to buy any book worth Rs. 500 each.

“Farewell, wherever you fare till your eyries receive you at the journey's end. May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks," Hard as it is to admit, it was now time to bid adieu to yet another batch. To acknowledge the bittersweet highlights of a journey that has now come to an end and to wish luck for future endeavours, a proper goodbye had to be said. In the light of the current situation and with a heavy heart, the Electrical Engineering society organised an online farewell to the 2020 batch of the Electrical Engineering department on 21st, August.  Reminiscing the journey, the event was filled with many trips down the memory lane. O n the 6th Sep 2019, a visit was scheduled on the Anniversary of LMRC. 20 students of electrical third year batch went for the visit.  The need for tunnel ventilation is critical for the life and safety of any person utilizing the metro, rail or road tunnels throughout the world. Typically the equipment is used for smoke extraction or control for the time it takes people to evacuate the tunnel under emergency conditions. They are also utilized to control exhaust fumes and to provide standard ventilation when required. The basic control using portal to portal,  shaft to shaft,  portal to shaft introduced. The LMRC team explained the function  of equipment like a draft,  CMC,  planum, Rockwool for insulation,  air-cooled chiller, dampers, attenuator in detail.  

On 22nd of February 2019, Electrical Engineering Society completed its journey of one year after it was revived on the same date last year. The second reopening anniversary of EES (Electrical Engineering Society) is on the door (22nd February) and it added 63 new members in its circle. The freshmen year (B.tech 2022 batch) introduced to Electrical Engineering Society in the presence of senior professor of electrical engineering department Dr Bharti Diwedi, Faculty advisor of society Dr Nitin Anand Srivastava and Dr Arunima Verma. From now onwards, the 1st year members of the society will be involved actively in the working of society. Small efforts sustained over time can produce significant results. A small quiz of weighted 36 marks was organised to increase the enthusiasm of the freshmen year based on basic electrical appliances and aptitude. Student participated with excitement. Electrical Engineering Society under the guidance of Department of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow in association with AIESEC, IIT Delhi organised a two-day industrial training workshop on 28th & 29th January 2019 on 'Industrial Automation: PLC- SCADA'. The workshop was intended to make the students acquainted with conceptual as well as practical knowledge of industrial automation and the latest technology being used in the field of automation. The idea of organising this workshop was to instil the basic fundamentals of automation in students and provide them with a platform to work on. The resource person Mr Syed Md. 2nd November 2018 was an antagonistic day for electrical engineering students. Electrical Engineering Society, Department of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Engineering and Technology Lucknow organised a debate competition on the topic 'How the youth can play an important role in building a corruption free country'.A program was organised in association with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited at 11.30 onwards.      This event was organised by  PGCIL  to mark the celebration of the  Vigilance Awareness  week from 29 Oct-3 Nov so as to aware citizens, especially our youth, for this giant issue of corruption. The 1st meeting of all the post holders with the HOD sir Prof. Kuldeep Sahay and faculty advisor Dr. Nitin Shrivastava was held on last Saturday. In the meeting, all the post holders expressed their future plans for EES and promised their commitment to the society.
