PGCIL Speech Competition

2nd November 2018 was an antagonistic day for electrical engineering students. Electrical Engineering Society, Department of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Engineering and Technology Lucknow organised a debate competition on the topic 'How the youth can play an important role in building a corruption free country'.A program was organised in association with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited at 11.30 onwards.
     This event was organised by PGCIL to mark the celebration of the Vigilance Awareness week from 29 Oct-3 Nov so as to aware citizens, especially our youth, for this giant issue of corruption. The event was hosted by EED with the compering of Akarsh Shukla Vidrohi(3rd year). All participants had enthusiastically expressed their views and were so good and dogmatic in their opinion that it really made the task of judges very tough to decide the winner.
         The event was inaugurated with welcoming short speech by Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Chief manager of Vigilance  Department, PGCIL. The event was judged by Satyendra Singh Sir Electrical Engineering Department and Mohd. Faizal(PGCIL).Two PGCIL member were the alumni of the Electrical Engineering Department. Manager of PGCIL, HOD of EED Dr Kuldeep Sahay sir, Senior faculty of EED  Dr Bharti Dwivedi mam, Faculty Advisor of EES Nitin Anand Srivastava sir were present and they encouraged the students present to eradicate corruption by their words of wisdom.

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to everyone who participated in the competition and special congratulations to them who won and got prizes. This was one of the most epic days of Electrical Engineering Society.

The Electrical Engineering Society (EES) successfully conducted its Group Discussion (GD) Event , designed to help students strengthen one of the most essential skills in the professional world that is  effective communication . The event aimed to create a dynamic platform where participants could express their ideas, think critically, listen actively, and collaborate within a team setting. Students engaged in thoughtful discussions on current topics, showcased their reasoning abilities, and demonstrated confidence and clarity in presenting their viewpoints.
