"If you have to put someone on a pedestal, put teachers, they are society's heroes." - Guy Kawasaki 5th September celebrates the birth anniversary of scholar and Bharat Ratna recipient Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, born on the same day in 1888. On this day,  the Electrical Engineering Society of IET College organised an event earmarked for our teachers, who are well-known for their role in carving their students' lives.  The event started with the lighting of the lamp and was followed by taking blessings from the goddess Saraswati. Then there were programs like speeches, poems, and songs highlighting the importance of teachers in our lives. Soon after, the teachers shared their words of wisdom with the students and encouraged them to follow the right path. We felt grateful listening to the inducing terms from the faculty. We took this opportunity to thank our generous teachers who ushered us to the lights of wisdom. Be it in person or virtually, our teachers never missed a chance of imparting knowledge.   With the tantalizing season of meteorological autumn,  along with the razzle-dazzle within, On the fiesta of teachers day, celebrated each year on 5 th September, we the electrical engineering society integrated our student folks to join us for the grand online merriment. We plumped our energies high up, revitalized ourself and pulled up our socks to surprise our teachers who play a massive role in our life each day, be it a pandemic situation or a normal happy go one. We commenced our programme with the recitation of Saraswati Mantra followed by the inaugural speech where we welcomed our honorable faculty members. As we unraveled our shades of intra mural gusto we presented a virtual bouquet and some artworks done by our classmates along with a mesmerizing wheelwork depicting their preciousness in our lives. The society celebrated Teacher's Day by organising a program for the faculties of the department. In the seminar hall of the department, the program started with the lightening of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, followed by an introductory speech by Akarsh Shukla and Deepti Tripathi and cutting of the teacher's day cake. Then a gratitude giving speech was given by Nisheeth Pandey followed by a poem on teachers by Jaynendra Nath Pandey. The melodious voice of Krishna & Sanat accompanied by the perfect rhythm of the guitar by Sanat created the atmosphere in the Teacher's Day program. Everyone appreciated the two with a thunder of applause. Then the faculties of the department pored their heart out by delivering their full of experience lessons to the students.
