Teacher’s Day Celebration 2025 – Honoring the Guiding Lights of our Department!

The Electrical Engineering Society (EES) of IET Lucknow celebrated Teacher’s Day on 7th September 2025 with heartfelt gratitude and enthusiasm, paying tribute to the mentors who shape not only the academic foundation but also the character and spirit of every student.

The event began with a warm welcome to the faculty members of the Electrical Engineering Department, whose dedication, wisdom, and constant guidance continue to inspire generations of learners. The atmosphere was filled with deep respect and appreciation, as students expressed their sincere thanks to their teachers for their tireless efforts and invaluable mentorship.

A series of engaging performances, speeches, and heartfelt messages were presented by students, each reflecting the profound bond between teachers and pupils. The event highlighted the theme that education is not merely about lessons from books but the light that teachers ignite within their students.

The senior faculty members appreciated the efforts of the EES team for organizing the event with grace and sincerity. They reminded students that the true way to honor teachers is through dedication to learning, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence.

The celebration concluded with a token of gratitude presented to faculty members as a symbol of respect and appreciation. The event served as a gentle reminder that behind every successful engineer stands a teacher whose vision, patience, and encouragement make all the difference.

Through this celebration, EES once again reinforced its belief that education gains its meaning through the guidance of teachers who teach not only minds but hearts.

Interaction Session with Batch EE"2025

An interaction program was organised for Btech Electrical Engineering first-year students on 24th April , 2022. To break the ice between new entrants and already existing students a “junior-senior interaction” program was organised at the campus by the Electrical Engineering Society. The aim of this session was to set up a healthy relationship between freshers and seniors and make the transition of first-year students from school to college smoother. The program helped freshers in getting along with seniors and assimilating in the new atmosphere of IET LUCKNOW. In this session seniors, while playing a dual role of a friend and a mentor, counselled the freshers on how to study, what to study, career opportunities, higher studies and internship and job opportunities.  The inter-batch dialogue with seniors was a great help for freshers. In the end, freshers felt motivated and appreciated this session.
