Visit to the Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPCL)

 A one day technical visit to Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPCL) Sarojini Nagar, LUCKNOW was organised for the final year students of Electrical Engineering Department, IET LUCKNOW on 31st March, 2022. UP Power Transmission Corporation Limited, incorporated under the Companies Act 1956, was incorporated in 2006 with the main objective to acquire, establish, operate, run, manage,maintain, renovate, modernize, work and use of electrical transmission lines and/or network through extra high voltage, high voltage and associated sub-stations, cables, wires, connected with transmission ancillary services, telecommunication and telemetering equipment in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India and elsewhere. The visit helped the students for a practical exposure into electricity transmission system. We would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed HOD, Dr. Seethalekshmi K Ma'am, Faculty Advisor, Dr. Nitin Anand Srivastava Sir, as well as the team, for their effort

Visit to the Lucknow Metro Railway Corporation (LMRC)

On the 30th March, the Electrical department and EES conducted a one-day technical visit to the Lucknow Metro Railway Corporation (LMRC) in Uttar Pradesh for Third year students of Electrical engineering Department, IET LUCKNOW . This visit helped the students for a practical exposure in various subjects like control system, Power System.To build and run the metro, the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh formed the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation, a 50:50 joint venture. LMRC (Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation) achieved various milestones while constructing the 8.5 km 'Priority Corridor' project between Transport Nagar and Charbagh. We would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed HOD, Dr. Seethalekshmi K Ma'am, as well as the team, for their efforts in organising the visit. Here are few glimpses of the same.
