  Technical Visit to PGCIL Substation | Electrical Engineering Society The Electrical Engineering Society successfully organized an insightful technical visit to the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) substation near Lucknow batch of (2023-2027). The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to step beyond the classroom and witness the functioning of one of the critical components of India’s power transmission infrastructure . The experience offered an in-depth understanding of how electrical power is transmitted, controlled, and distributed across the grid.   Hack X VID-YOUTH 2026 | Innovation, Collaboration and Impact The successful conclusion of Hack X VID-YOUTH 2026 marked a remarkable celebration of innovation, technology, and problem-solving. Hosted onsite at IET Lucknow, the hackathon brought together some of the brightest student minds who worked tirelessly to transform ideas into fully functional prototypes. With more than 750 participants and over 250 team registrations, the event witnessed an extraordinary display of creativity, technical expertise, determination, and collaborative spirit.
