Vis-a-Vis

 The Electrical Engineering Society welcomed first year Electrical Engineering with the noteworthy event Vis-a-vis. The event consisted of four rounds- Group Discussion, Debate, Just a minute (JAM) and final round Presentation which was successfully conducted offline by the EES team. The literary event not only enhanced students' communication and presentation skills but also boosted their confidence in public speaking.     "Winning is not always about being best. Sometimes it's about holding on the longest."All the freshers put out a valiant effort and participated to the end. Vis-a-Vis, an initiative from Electrical Engineering Society was overall an intriguing journey and the whole first year travelled it well.The leaderboard here reveals the names of top three ranker and other participants. Every name included here deserves our warmest congratulations. These competitions assuredly helped the students boost up their skills and cognizance.

Hold High the Flame - Episode 2

 A river cuts through rock not because of its power, but its persistence. As our frequency remains constant with increasing wavelengths of our team spirit, the Electrical Engineering Society started with *2nd Episode of HOLD HIGH THE FLAME* with high flyer *Krishna Meerendra sir*, who has brought Institute of Engineering and Technology to the top of the board via his unwavering thriving triumph. He is an *alumini of EE'20, IET Lucknow*, who scored *AIR 20 in GATE'21* and added feathers to his cap by scoring *AIR 15 in ESE'21*.  On *15th May, 2022*, the session was conducted in online mode through the *Google Meet platform*. Hold High The Flame - Episode 1

 Electrical Engineering Society started an electrifying series *Hold the Flame High* for all the students of Electrical Engineering Department with various sessions and events to add spark to their college life. "Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those, who don't rest on the laurels of the past." Students of Electrical Engineering Department are proving the same with their never give up attitude. The first episode of the series started with an interactive interview session with our star achiever *Pracheta Pathak* Sir, final year Electrical Engineering student of IET LUCKNOW who not only achieved the rank of *587* in *GATE* 2022 but also cracked the *BARC* online test 2022. Industrial Visit to Lucknow City Transport Service Limited.

 An industrial visit to Lucknow City Transport Service Limited, Dubagga, Lucknow was organised for B.Tech 3rd year Electrical Engineering students on 30/04/2022. The visit was organised by Electrical Engineering Department , Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow. Transportation is a fundamental requirement of modern life, but traditional internal combustion engines are rapidly becoming obsolete. Gasoline and diesel vehicles are highly polluting and are quickly being replaced by fully electric vehicles. Electrical vehicles are more efficient and also produce less noise pollution as there is no engine under the hood. All electric vehicles (EVs) have no tailpipe emissions and are far more environmental friendly with lower running costs, low maintenance costs.
