Hold High The Flame - Episode 1

 Electrical Engineering Society started an electrifying series *Hold the Flame High* for all the students of Electrical Engineering Department with various sessions and events to add spark to their college life.

"Success comes to those who work hard and stays with those, who don't rest on the laurels of the past." Students of Electrical Engineering Department are proving the same with their never give up attitude. The first episode of the series started with an interactive interview session with our star achiever *Pracheta Pathak* Sir, final year Electrical Engineering student of IET LUCKNOW who not only achieved the rank of *587* in *GATE* 2022 but also cracked the *BARC* online test 2022. Sir shared his experience and preparation strategies with us. The session was held in online mode through Google meet platform on *7th May, 2022* . The amazing session helped the students for their preparation of various competitive exams. 

Pracheta sir interacted very nicely with the students and guided them for their GATE preparation.

Students expressed their gratitude to Faculty advisor Nitin Anand Sir and HOD Seethalekshmi K Ma'am as well as the entire EES team for organising the session.

Visit to State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC)

  A one day technical visit to State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) of Uttar Pradesh was organized for Electrical engineering students by Electrical department and EES on 9th October, 2021. SLDC is the prime body which is responsible for the integrated operation of power system in Uttar Pradesh. SLDC ensures the secure and economic working of the state grid and also carry out practical operations for grid control and electricity dispatch in the state. The SLDC works under RLDC which further works under NLDC. We would really thank our honorable HOD Dr. Seethalekshmi K Ma'am as well as the staff for organizing the visit.
