Industrial Visit to Lucknow City Transport Service Limited.

An industrial visit to Lucknow City Transport Service Limited, Dubagga, Lucknow was organised for B.Tech 3rd year Electrical Engineering students on 30/04/2022. The visit was organised by Electrical Engineering Department , Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow.

Transportation is a fundamental requirement of modern life, but traditional internal combustion engines are rapidly becoming obsolete. Gasoline and diesel vehicles are highly polluting and are quickly being replaced by fully electric vehicles. Electrical vehicles are more efficient and also produce less noise pollution as there is no engine under the hood. All electric vehicles (EVs) have no tailpipe emissions and are far more environmental friendly with lower running costs, low maintenance costs. The main purpose of the visit is to give students a practical exposure about the charging infrastructure of Electrical Vehicles so that students can relate their theoretical knowledge of Electrical Vehicles to practical charging.

The students expressed their gratitude to HOD, Seethalekshmi K Ma'am, Faculty advisor , Nitin Anand Sir, and Saurabh Jha sir for guiding them throughout the visit and the team for organising the visit. Here are few glimpses of the same.
