Get-Set-Go!!

The 1st meeting of all the post holders with the HOD sir Prof. Kuldeep Sahay and faculty advisor Dr. Nitin Shrivastava was held on last Saturday. In the meeting, all the post holders expressed their future plans for EES and promised their commitment to the society. Also, the words of wisdom given by HOD sir showed them all the way to take the society in the right direction. Soon the work of departmental library will also start as per the directions of head sir.

Visit to State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC)

  A one day technical visit to State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) of Uttar Pradesh was organized for Electrical engineering students by Electrical department and EES on 9th October, 2021. SLDC is the prime body which is responsible for the integrated operation of power system in Uttar Pradesh. SLDC ensures the secure and economic working of the state grid and also carry out practical operations for grid control and electricity dispatch in the state. The SLDC works under RLDC which further works under NLDC. We would really thank our honorable HOD Dr. Seethalekshmi K Ma'am as well as the staff for organizing the visit. EXPERT LECTURE ON “ADVANCED ELECTRIC MACHINES”

“Electrical science has revealed to us the true nature of light, has provided us with innumerable appliances and instruments of precision, and has thereby vastly added to the exactness of our knowledge”   To enhance the knowledge and acquaintance to the motor technology of B. Tech 3 rd , 4 th year and M. Tech 1 st and 2nd-year students ,   Electrical Engineering Department, IET Lucknow ( EES) organized an expert lecture on “ Advanced Electric Machines ” by the hon’ble expert speaker “Prof. Ajay Srivastava ” who is an expert speaker from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India. During lecture students were informed about reluctance type motor, is a type of an electric motor that induces non-permanent magnetic poles on the ferromagnetic rotor generating torque through magnetic reluctance having no windings.  Advanced Electric Machines(AEM) , a spin-out from Newcastle University , has developed the HDSRM (high- density switched reluctance machine),
