An Interactive session with EE batch 2026

 On February 15, 2023, the Electrical Engineering Society hosted an interactive session with the EE batch 2026, B.Tech, Electrical Engineering students.

The Electrical Engineering Department's seminar room functioned as the venue for the event. A sense of camaraderie, exchange of knowledge, and professional growth among aspiring electrical engineers were the prime goals of the session. The EES members emphasised the importance of community engagement and shared their personal experiences as active participants in the society. The team presented a comprehensive overview outlining the society's mission, vision, and core values. The society's dedication to fostering academic achievement, professional growth, and electrical engineering research was mentioned, along with different events and initiatives carried out by the society. These included technical workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industry visits, and research symposiums. The opportunities these events provide for enhancing practical skills, networking, and staying updated with the latest developments in the field were highlighted. The benefits of joining the Electrical Engineering Society were explained in detail. These included access to a vast network of professionals, mentorship programs, career guidance, leadership opportunities, and exclusive industry connections. The senior members emphasised how active involvement in the society can enhance their academic and professional growth.

The interactive session between the first-year students of the Electrical Engineering department and the EES team proved to be an enriching experience. Further, it offered valuable insights into the diverse aspects of electrical engineering and fostered a sense of community among the students. The event served as a stepping stone for the students to explore their passion for electrical engineering, connect with like-minded individuals, and gain practical knowledge that complements their academic studies. With the support of the EES team, the first-year students left the session feeling inspired and motivated to pursue their journey in the fascinating world of electrical engineering.

The Electrical Engineering Society (EES) successfully conducted its Group Discussion (GD) Event , designed to help students strengthen one of the most essential skills in the professional world that is  effective communication . The event aimed to create a dynamic platform where participants could express their ideas, think critically, listen actively, and collaborate within a team setting. Students engaged in thoughtful discussions on current topics, showcased their reasoning abilities, and demonstrated confidence and clarity in presenting their viewpoints. Visit to State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC)

  A one day technical visit to State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) of Uttar Pradesh was organized for Electrical engineering students by Electrical department and EES on 9th October, 2021. SLDC is the prime body which is responsible for the integrated operation of power system in Uttar Pradesh. SLDC ensures the secure and economic working of the state grid and also carry out practical operations for grid control and electricity dispatch in the state. The SLDC works under RLDC which further works under NLDC. We would really thank our honorable HOD Dr. Seethalekshmi K Ma'am as well as the staff for organizing the visit.
