Welcoming the New Energy: EES'25 Briefing Session for First Year

The Electrical Engineering Society (EES) of IET Lucknow successfully conducted a briefing session for the first-year students on 13th November 2025, aimed at introducing them to the society’s vision, activities, and opportunities that lie ahead in their academic journey.

The session was held in the Seminar Hall, where enthusiastic juniors were warmly welcomed by the EES team. The event began with an overview of the objectives of EES, emphasizing its role in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. The speakers highlighted the society’s contribution in organizing technical events, industrial visits, competitions, and workshops, all designed to foster innovation and teamwork among budding engineers.

The briefing also shed light on past achievements of EES — including successful events like Hold the Flame, Tech Talks, and various department-level initiatives that have helped students gain hands-on exposure and leadership experience.

Through this session, first-year students were encouraged to participate actively in upcoming events of vis-a-vis. The senior members also shared their experiences, motivating juniors to take initiative and contribute towards revitalizing the society with new ideas and energy.

The event concluded with an open interaction, where students shared their expectations and queries. The overwhelming participation reflected the curiosity and excitement among the newcomers to be a part of the growing EES community.

With this successful briefing, Team EES proudly marks the beginning of another dynamic set of Vis-a-Vis events, as it continues to empower young electrical engineers to think creatively, act collaboratively, and lead confidently.
