Alumni Meet

Convergence'19, a swash strapping get-together of long time colleagues and a mercurial upturn of memories, held on 23rd November. The alumni batch of 1994 gathered after 25 years of their graduation, in order to mark their presence on convergence'19 and for novelizing their memories.
On such a congenial occasion Electrical Engineering Society (EES) gave an acclamation to the alumnis of electrical engineering department and embellished an alumni meet at Tesla hall. The reputed alumni had a very prestigious interaction with Prof. Bharti Dwivedi Ma'am and other faculty members. A brief discussion on recent activities and future plans of society held , followed by the launch of “Alumni’s discussion forum “ of society on EES blogspot. Afterwards an special vote of thanks was given to the prestigious alumni. EES thanks to the alumni and hope best for their exaltation.

Inaguration of Tesla Hall: EES Library & Meeting Room

On 24th November 2018, the meeting room and library of EES, the Tesla Hall, was inaugurated by the hands of Alumni of the 1993 batch of the department in presence of Prof. Bharti Dwivedi ma'am. The inauguration was scheduled on the occasion of Convergence'18, the Silver Jubilee program of 1989-93 batch of the institute. The work of the library was started after it was announced in the Teacher's Day program. By the hard work of the Library Committee and other active members of EES from 2nd and 3rd year, the library has again come to a state to operate for the welfare of the students of the society. Special thanks to HOD sir, Prof. Kuldeep Sahay for providing curtains and a  roundtable along with cousin chairs for the hall. Also, head sir has agreed to give a desktop and a printer for the library. The society has also arranged a whiteboard, a clock and sheets for the windows from its fund. Teachers' Day Celebration, 2022

"If you have to put someone on a pedestal, put teachers, they are society's heroes." - Guy Kawasaki 5th September celebrates the birth anniversary of scholar and Bharat Ratna recipient Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, born on the same day in 1888. On this day,  the Electrical Engineering Society of IET College organised an event earmarked for our teachers, who are well-known for their role in carving their students' lives.  The event started with the lighting of the lamp and was followed by taking blessings from the goddess Saraswati. Then there were programs like speeches, poems, and songs highlighting the importance of teachers in our lives. Soon after, the teachers shared their words of wisdom with the students and encouraged them to follow the right path. We felt grateful listening to the inducing terms from the faculty. Presentation Round – Ideas That Spoke Louder Than Words at Vis-à-Vis 2024

The Presentation Round of Vis-à-Vis 2024 , organized by the Electrical Engineering Society (EES) of IET Lucknow , was held on 9th April 2025 , marking the grand and insightful conclusion to this year’s literary series. This round provided first-year students with an opportunity to express their creativity, innovation, and communication skills through impactful presentations on a wide range of topics. From social awareness and technology-driven ideas to imaginative solutions and personal insights, each presentation reflected originality, research, and confidence. Participants effectively combined visual elements, storytelling, and public speaking to make their presentations engaging and persuasive.
