L&T Training For 3rd Year Students


A three days industrial training was organized for the third year students by the department and society from 7th to 9th September 2019. The training was organized on the topic "Integrating Smart Switchgear" at the L&T Switchgear Training Centre in Lucknow. The students got to know about the Switchgear which is a combination of electrical connect and disconnect switches. It includes fuses or circuit breakers that are used to control, protect and isolate electrical equipment. The switchboards play a big role in the distribution of power and management of distribution systems. One of the basic functions of switchgear is protection. It interrupts the short-circuiting and overload fault currents while maintaining service to unaffected circuits. The society thanks HOD Dr. Satyendra Singh sir for making arrangements for the training of third-year students at L&T. Great thanks to Mrs. Sabiha Ahmed(L&T staff) and her training staff.

Inaguration of Tesla Hall: EES Library & Meeting Room

On 24th November 2018, the meeting room and library of EES, the Tesla Hall, was inaugurated by the hands of Alumni of the 1993 batch of the department in presence of Prof. Bharti Dwivedi ma'am. The inauguration was scheduled on the occasion of Convergence'18, the Silver Jubilee program of 1989-93 batch of the institute. The work of the library was started after it was announced in the Teacher's Day program. By the hard work of the Library Committee and other active members of EES from 2nd and 3rd year, the library has again come to a state to operate for the welfare of the students of the society. Special thanks to HOD sir, Prof. Kuldeep Sahay for providing curtains and a  roundtable along with cousin chairs for the hall. Electrical Vehicle Technology and Industry

  A five-day live-online-training-program (24 to 28 November 2020) was scheduled on “Electric Vehicle Technology and EV Industry” (which includes Control of Electric Vehicle) for organizing in November, 2020.
