Vis-à-Vis 2024: Where Words Meet Wisdom

The Electrical Engineering Society (EES), IET Lucknow proudly organizes Vis-à-Vis, a literary competition aimed at giving freshers a platform to express their ideas, creativity, and communication skills. Designed to bring out the best in young minds, Vis-à-Vis embodies the spirit of dialogue, debate, and dynamic thinking.

The event comprised four engaging segments Group Discussion, Debate, Presentation, and Just A Minute (JAM) — each testing participants’ confidence, clarity, and command over language.

  • In the Group Discussion, participants explored contemporary topics, voicing their opinions and learning the art of teamwork and analytical communication.

  • The Debate round brought out their persuasive skills, as they argued passionately on thought-provoking issues, defending or challenging perspectives with logic and eloquence.

  • The Presentation segment provided a platform for individuals to showcase creativity, research, and public speaking flair, turning complex ideas into captivating talks.

  • Finally, Just A Minute (JAM) added an element of spontaneity and fun, challenging participants to think fast, speak fluently, and entertain the audience all within sixty seconds.

The event helped freshers overcome stage fear, improve articulation, and develop leadership qualities. Vis-à-Vis stood as a testament to EES’s commitment to nurturing all-round development among budding engineers.

So get ready to step up, speak out, and let your voice make an impact because Vis-à-Vis 2024 is more than a competition, it’s a conversation that defines confidence.
