  1. In the electrical wiring of buildings, a Cable Tray system is used to support insulated electrical cables used for power distribution, control, and communication. Cable Trays are used as an alternative to open wiring or electrical conduit systems, and Cable Tray are commonly used for cable management in commercial and industrial construction. Cable Tray are especially useful in situations where changes to a wiring system are anticipated, since new cables can be installed by laying them in the tray, instead of pulling them through a pipe.

Vis-a-Vis: A Debate That Sparked Minds and Voices

The Electrical Engineering Society successfully conducted a debate of   Vis-a-Vis , that stood as a celebration of ideas, intellect, and informed expression. Inaguration of Tesla Hall: EES Library & Meeting Room

On 24th November 2018, the meeting room and library of EES, the Tesla Hall, was inaugurated by the hands of Alumni of the 1993 batch of the department in presence of Prof. Bharti Dwivedi ma'am. The inauguration was scheduled on the occasion of Convergence'18, the Silver Jubilee program of 1989-93 batch of the institute. The work of the library was started after it was announced in the Teacher's Day program. By the hard work of the Library Committee and other active members of EES from 2nd and 3rd year, the library has again come to a state to operate for the welfare of the students of the society. Special thanks to HOD sir, Prof. Kuldeep Sahay for providing curtains and a  roundtable along with cousin chairs for the hall. Also, head sir has agreed to give a desktop and a printer for the library. The society has also arranged a whiteboard, a clock and sheets for the windows from its fund. Presentation Round – Ideas That Spoke Louder Than Words at Vis-à-Vis 2024

The Presentation Round of Vis-à-Vis 2024 , organized by the Electrical Engineering Society (EES) of IET Lucknow , was held on 9th April 2025 , marking the grand and insightful conclusion to this year’s literary series. This round provided first-year students with an opportunity to express their creativity, innovation, and communication skills through impactful presentations on a wide range of topics. From social awareness and technology-driven ideas to imaginative solutions and personal insights, each presentation reflected originality, research, and confidence. Participants effectively combined visual elements, storytelling, and public speaking to make their presentations engaging and persuasive.
