Emphasis on English

Greetings to all the members!

We all know that English is preferred all over the word as a medium for communication whether in writing or in speech. Also, we all have to pass through various stages in our professional life where knowledge of English matters a lot. In our college though we have subject like PC for imparting knowledge of English but as we all know, that is not much successful. Its good to start early than to regret later. So, can we start a culture in our department to converse in English?

We all have come from different backgrounds, few of us might be having a good knowledge of English but still many may be unaware of the basics of the language. Together as a team we can turn mountains but alone we are helpless. This is not a motion to disregard our mother tongue, but should be seen for the development of our personality. Also in good Institutes of India, students generally use English to converse and in their day to day life. At least we can have few conversations in a day in English, and slowly we can develop a habit.

We invite ideas form all of us as to how can we integrate English in our society, specially those who have a good command over the language can help us a lot on this. Ideas and suggestions are always welcomed as a comment.
